As you may be aware we are hosting the Canoe Kayak Canada Team Trials the weekend of June 21-23, 2019. This event will take place on Lake Banook, and will feature both junior and senior athletes vying for a number of selection spots for Canadian teams.

We require some volunteers to make this event run smoothly.

For the upcoming event, please let me know if you are able to volunteer in any of these roles:

Doping Chaperone: The Doping Chaperone is responsible to accompany the athlete to the Canadian Centre for Ethics in Sport tester. This is an "on-call" position and you must be able to be at the lake with 30 minutes notice. Only required on June 22 & June 23, 2019. Need: 2 females & 2 males per day.

Official Boat Drivers: Drive officials as needed throughout the competition. This includes during races through the course, at the start line and to and from any meetings as required. Appropriate boating license with experience is required. PFD’s are required to be worn while in the boat. Close-toed shoes required, sneakers recommended. The hours are June 21 8:00 am - 6:00 pm, June 22 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, June 23 8:00 am - 3:30pm. Need: 5 per day
