Dear Member Clubs,
Yesterday, Canoe Kayak Canada released its response to COVID-19. We at ADCKC support all of the measures outlined in the response.
As always, our top priority is the health and welfare of our athletes, coaches, staff, and volunteers.
Because of that, we are making the following recommendations:
Those who are in Canada should stay in Canada
Those in Europe should return and self-quarantine
Those at the Florida camp should make their own decisions. No new members, friends or relatives should join.
If clubs can isolate the athletes and take reasonable preventative measures in Florida they should do so.
Finally, all training groups at our facility in Dartmouth have been suspended until further notice.
Regards,
ADCKC Board of Directors
